Environmental and Social Justice Sandpit event

Professor Rebecca Hoyle, Associate Vice-President Interdisciplinary Research, will host the rescheduled Interdisciplinary Research Environmental and Social Justice Sandpit on Tuesday 16 April (09:15-16:30), at Wide Lane Sports Grounds.

A sandpit is an interactive facilitated workshop designed to lead to the formation of new research teams and highly novel and risk-accepting projects to tackle big research challenges. The sandpit will provide a creative platform for new interdisciplinary teams to devise a pilot project during the workshop and submit a bid for interdisciplinary pump-priming funds shortly afterwards. These will be used to create and grow interdisciplinary research communities in targeted areas that will contribute to addressing big societal challenges.

Please visit the Interdisciplinary Research SharePoint site for more information, and to register your interest please submit the Expression of Interest form by midday Thursday 14 March.

Previously registered participants for the postponed Sandpit E&SJ Sandpit – 29/11/2023) will be carried forwardtherefore will not need to reapply.
