The spring round of the Student Experience Survey, from the University of Southampton and your Students’ Union, is now open for responses. All undergraduate and postgraduate taught students can complete the survey, except finalists. This survey is part of our continuous collaborative effort to capture your feedback and ensure that it is valued, listened to, and acted upon.
This follows on from the survey you completed in November 2023.
In the autumn Student Experience Survey, you told us that the Cost of Living, work life balance and mental health were areas you find challenging. We want to better support you and understand why, so the Spring Student Experience Survey will cover these crucial areas, as well as your wider experience at university.
As a thank you for taking part in the survey and helping us gain an understanding of your experience and your needs, you will be entered into a £300 prize draw, where you could win one of six £50 vouchers. If you won a voucher in the autumn, you will still be entered into the prize draw for this survey.

National Student Survey
If you are a final year student, you may be eligible to complete the National Student Survey (NSS). Your honest feedback is incredibly valuable to the University and will be used to make real changes in the areas that matter most to you.
If you complete the NSS you will be eligible to receive a £5 catering voucher which you can collect from The Student Hub – find out more and take the NSS via the Your Voice SharePoint site.
