If you have a disability, mental health condition or specific learning difference such as dyslexia or dyspraxia, you may be eligible to receive additional arrangements for exams and timed assessments. These are commonly referred to as AERs.
Please note: If your additional exam recommendations have already been confirmed for the duration of your course, you do not need to do anything further, unless you wish to request a change to your AERs. To find out what your current AERs are please contact The Student Hub.
AERs for exams and timed assessments in semester two
If you think you are eligible for additional exam recommendations in semester two, please complete this support form as soon as possible.
Alongside the form, please email [email protected] with medical evidence of your disability or a report from an SpLD assessor or an Educational Psychologist.
You must complete the form and submit your evidence by Friday 22 March. This is so we have enough time to organise AERs should you need them. We may need to meet with you via a Student Support Appointment to discuss your arrangements.
We will share the outcome of your AER request for semester two with you by Friday 19 April.
Please note: We will not be able to implement AERs for the semester two exam period if you contact us after Friday 22 March.
Additional arrangements for the duration of your course
If you require reasonable adjustments in your studies other than exams, you may wish to book a Student Support Appointment and we can recommend adjustments to your faculty, where required. Please note appointments may not be available to book until after Friday 19 April, whilst we work on AER requests for semester two.
