Pension workshop and Q&A sessions for March: PASNAS, USRF and USS

Members of PASNAS, the University of Southampton Retirement Fund (USRF) and the Universities Superannuation Scheme (USS) are invited to attend a workshop and Q&A session about their pension scheme, run by pensions expert Brendan Mulkern in March.

In the sessions, Brendan Mulkern will provide an overview of the key features and benefits of being a member in each of the pension schemes.

A bit more about the pension schemes

USS – Level 4 and above members of staff may be members of the USS scheme. You are welcome to attend a session about USS if you are level 4 and above and not already a member of USS.

PASNAS – Closed to new joiners. This session is to provide current active members of the scheme with a better understanding on how the scheme works.

USRF – Replaced PASNAS as the occupational scheme for members of staff who are level 1 – 3.

If you are unable to make any of the sessions, you can access the same information in the following ways:

Recording – a recording of the PASNAS, USRF and USS sessions will be made and posted on SUSSED.

Transcript – a transcript of the PASNAS, USRF and USS sessions will also be posted on SUSSED and sent to managers to distribute/pin on noticeboards in areas where staff do not have computers.
