RLAs will play an essential role in ensuring that our halls community remains as positive and informed as possible throughout the academic year.

As a Residence Life Assistant, you will be assigned one or two ‘base’ halls to work at, although you may be asked to work at any site. At these sites, your responsibilities will include supporting in running both large and small events within halls, with and without University staff supervision.

You will also play a role in creating a supportive halls community, by acting as an expert for Halls of Residences, ensuring new residents settle in, know how to find and use facilities and can talk to you at any point, including during scheduled drop-ins throughout the week.

You will be paid £11.59 per hour if your application is successful. This role will have a guaranteed number of hours per week, on set days. As a result, we ask that you apply only where you are confident that you can balance your university and professional work throughout the entirety of the academic year.

Applications close on Friday 12 April. To apply for this role, please fill out this application form.
