Join us for an exciting week of sustainability-related talks and activities at the University’s Green Week from Monday 22 to Friday 26 April 2024.
Green Week is open to both staff and students and starts on World Earth Day, a global environmental movement to advance sustainability and climate action.
The event has been jointly organised by the Sustainability Community of Practice (SCoP) and Southampton University Students’ Union (SUSU).
Amongst the activities on offer: how to cope with eco anxiety at a time of climate crisis; join a Nature Escape Room on Highfield campus; use your creative skills and enter a wildlife photography competition; learn about zero-waste fashion designs; get your sustainability questions answered by the experts and listen to an update about our University’s Sustainability Strategic Plan.
Photography competition: as part of Green Week, staff are invited to participate in the Southampton University Photographic Society Wildlife Photography Competition. Entry to the competition will close at 23:45 on 1/04/2024. Entries will be displayed during Green Week and judged on Wednesday 24 April.
A big thank you to all those colleagues and students from across the University who have agreed to run a talk/activity during Green Week!
