The Spring 2024 edition of our research and enterprise magazine, Re:action, celebrates interdisciplinary research.
The University of Southampton has an enviable track record in interdisciplinary research. In the face of global challenges including public health, climate change, energy, food and water security, and the responsible use of artificial intelligence, it has never been more important to take an interdisciplinary approach to finding solutions.
This edition of Re:action showcases interdisciplinary activity across the University, including a project using drones to measure glacial melt; research exploring the part that culture can play in improving public health; and an interdisciplinary network which crosses disciplines, borders and barriers to understand the impact of explosive warfare on civilians.
