The 22nd annual Festival of Social Science will be returning 19 October – 9 November this year. This is an excellent opportunity for researchers to take part in the UK’s biggest celebration of social science research and engage with a wide range of non-academic audiences including young people, the public, the third sector, businesses or government.
For the second year, Bournemouth University (BU) is partnering with the University of Southampton (UoS) to offer an extended programme of events across Dorset and Hampshire.
This online session is aimed at academics who want to achieve real-life impact from their research through public engagement. You will hear all about previous FoSS events from both UoS and BU and will have the opportunity to ask questions regarding their experience.
The session will be delivered by the Impact funding Team based in Research and Innovation Services and the Public Engagement team at Bournemouth University.
