Southern Water have notified the University of essential maintenance works they plan to undertake to the system on Friday 5 April between the hours of 11:00-14:00.
We do not expect a loss of water to any of our campuses, however there may be a reduction in water pressure in buildings across Highfield campus.
Building 67 (Nightingale) will receive a short disruption to its water supply, and staff within the building have been notified.
It is likely that you will not notice the impact of the works, however if you notice a change to the appearance of the water in your building, Southern Water have provided guidance on what to do depending on the type of issue.
If you have a problem with the water supply in your building, please raise a ticket via Planon, the Estates Plumbing Team will be on site to oversee works and respond to any resulting issues.
