Small group careers coaching – commencing on Monday 22 April
This 3-session coaching programme has been designed to help researchers develop well-informed, realistic career plans by using strategies which support self-awareness, skills analysis and goal setting.
Researcher’s Careers Day – Thursday 2 May
Careers consultants will be joined by University of Southampton alumni and academics for panel discussions designed to inspire researchers and provide them with information about different job opportunities both within academia and industry.
Careers Workshops – running throughout summer term
Eight workshops (on rotation) cover everything from how to apply for jobs in academia and industry through to how to network online and off.
To sign up to any of these workshops and access 1-1 appointments you will need to register on the MyCareer platform, using the Early Career Researcher option.
Introducing Prosper, the postdoc career development tool
Prosper is a new online tool that unlocks postdocs’ potential to thrive in multiple career pathways. The Prosper Portal is free to use and provides useful tools, including a career development navigator and self-coaching resources. You can explore without logging in but will need to register for a free account for full functionality.
