Join us for an exciting week of sustainability-related talks and activities at the University’s Green Week from Monday 22 to Friday 26 April 2024.
Green Week starts on World Earth Day, a global environmental movement to advance sustainability and climate action.
The event has been jointly organised by the Sustainability Community of Practice (SCoP) and Southampton University Students’ Union (SUSU).
Amongst the talks and activities on offer:
Monday
13:00 – 15:00 – Change One Thing – B100/5013 – Green Week 2024 is inspired by the ‘change one thing’ call for action. Come along to this in-person workshop, facilitated by Karen Clinkard, Principal Teaching Fellow in Marketing, Southampton Business School, to find out how you can make simple lifestyle swaps to make a positive impact. Tuesday
11:00 – 11:40 – Eco-anxiety: emotional responses to the climate crisis and ways of coping. Online session led by Lucy Dorey – Lecturer in Clinical and Experimental Science. Join by Teams.
