Summer Graduation will take place at the O2 Southampton Guildhall, between Wednesday 17 July 2024 – Wednesday 24 July 2024. On Thursday 25 July 2024, ceremonies will also take place at Winchester Cathedral, for Winchester School of Art graduands.
We are inviting colleagues from across the University to be part of the Graduation experience, to ensure that this is an occasion full of joy and memories that our students and their families will treasure.
Staff can fulfil a range of key roles from Graduand Usher to Esquire Bedell. More details on these roles as well as the ceremony schedule can be found on the Graduation Updates SharePoint site.
What do I need to do?
If you’d like to be involved, please have a conversation with your line manager about supporting the event. If you are available, please complete this form by Friday 31 May.
What happens next?
Upon completion of this form, the manager of the individual will be notified, and the Graduation Team will contact individuals about their preferred shift times, roles, accessibility requirements and how to join an upcoming briefing session. Training at the venues will take place closer to the event date.
