“As a proud alumnus and former Deputy Vice-Chancellor of this remarkable university, I am delighted to begin my term as Chair of Council today. It is an exciting and compelling moment to take up this role – it is clear from our meetings today that the University is taking bold and meaningful steps toward achieving the ambitions set out in the University Strategy.”

“I would also like to reiterate my recognition and gratitude, on behalf of Council, for all that Philip Greenish has done for the University during his own term as Chair. We look forward to his continued involvement in his role as Pro Chancellor.”
