If you are a student interested in starting your own business, becoming a freelancer, or you have an idea that you are keen to take forward, the Small Business Speed Launch event will help set you up for the start of your entrepreneurial journey.
Taking place between Friday 26 and Sunday 28 April in the brand-new Student Enterprise Junction in the Sir James Matthews building, the event will include three days of expert advice, hands-on sessions to help you develop skills that will prove critical in the running of a business, as well as invaluable networking opportunities.
As part of this event, experts will give you advice on:
- Building a brand
- Improving websites and online presence
- Developing products and services
- Sales and marketing
- Managing your admin and finances
- Navigating criticism
The sessions will take place on Friday 26 April, 17:00-20:00, Saturday 27 April, 10:00-20:00, and Sunday 28 April 10:00-15:00. Food and drink will also be provided, and there will be a drinks reception on the first evening.
