Nominations for multiple awards across different areas of the University are open, including the Vice-Chancellor’s Awards, the Doctoral College Awards, and the Technician of the Year Award. All students are encouraged to nominate members of staff, technicians, and PGRs to recognise and celebrate their contributions to our community over the last year.
Vice Chancellor’s Awards
The Vice-Chancellor’s Awards are open for nominations until Friday 26 April. By nominating a member of staff, you help to highlight the achievements of teams and individual staff and ensure that they are acknowledged for all they do. All students are eligible to nominate any member of staff. This could include your lecturers, PATs, someone from The Student Hub, or anyone who has made a positive impact on your time at university. Visit the Vice-Chancellor’s Awards SharePoint site to learn more and make a nomination.
Technician of the Year Award
Nominations for the Technician of the Year Award are open until Friday 3 May. The awards represent an opportunity to celebrate our technical staff and their contribution to the success of students and academics here at the University. Find more information and nominate a technician on the Technician of the Year Award SharePoint site.
Doctoral College Awards
The Doctoral College Awards recognise and celebrate the exceptional achievements and contributions of the University’s doctorate researchers. Nominations for the Doctoral College Awards close on Friday 10 May. All PGRs can nominate a fellow researcher for a Director’s Award, and we encourage you to nominate anyone who has made a meaningful impact on you or others. You can read more about the Doctoral College Awards and make a nomination on the Doctoral College SharePoint site. All nominees will be invited to attend the Doctoral College Awards Ceremony, taking place on Tuesday 25 June 2024, on Highfield Campus.
