13:00 – 14:00, What Does the Government Actually Do and How Do I get involved? An introduction to UK climate change policy. Senate Room B37
A 1-hour in-person interactive training and discussion session on Environmental Policy in the UK, including what the government has committed to do, what it’s actually doing and what it might do next. Including a discussion of themes that are likely to be of importance for the upcoming general election, and the ways academic research can be used in the development of new policies.
14:00 (for 14:15 start) – 15:15, Nature Escape Room. Led by the University of Southampton Wildlife Society – Meet at B32 (Security Lodge Entrance)
This is an escape room experience with a difference; all about poaching and how we can prevent it and protect wildlife. This room isn’t just in a building, as you will explore the entirety of Highfield Campus!
