May sees the launch of season three of the popular Meliora podcast from the Sustainability and Resilience Institute.
Dedicated to celebrating the brilliant work of our students, Meliora season three will be a collection of shorter episodes produced by undergraduate students as part of the interdisciplinary ‘Global Sustainability Challenges’ module.
These will be followed by the ‘Meliora Podcast Symposium’ which will replicate a virtual symposium in podcast form, with undergraduate and postgraduate students discussing the findings from their independent research projects.
Make sure you’re subscribed to Meliora wherever you get your podcasts so you don’t miss the new season.
If you haven’t yet listened to season two, you’re missing out on episodes that explore a wide range of important social, cultural, economic and environmental issues through fascinating discussions with academics, students, and alumni.
The podcast team spoke to established researchers, early career researchers and undergraduate students on their dissertation research, and some of the many career opportunities in sustainability with our alumni.
Season two addresses the music industry, resilience and wellbeing in both Iraq and Ghana, biodiversity policy, Premier League football clubs, gender equality, Lionfish, fashion and the circular economy, and international development!
