Education focused
14 May – Promoting Student Inclusion (in-person event by WPSM)
An introduction to the student groups that are supported by the Student Inclusion team, namely: free-school meal eligible, IMDQ1 (low participation neighbourhoods), care experienced and estranged, Black, and mature.
15 May – Chinese Student feedback: the importance of non-verbal communication
Understand some of the most common aspects of non-verbal communication and their meaning with a particular focus on Chinese students.
16 May – PREP drop-in Sessions B58/R4121 (in-person)
These informal sessions can be used to carve out space for writing, to ask questions about your application or talk about your portfolio.

Every Monday, Wednesday and Thursday – Power Hour of Writing
If you have something to write, or even a task to complete to support your writing, but you just can’t find the time or motivation, this could be the space you need.
1 May – Solent Mind Wellbeing Workshops for Supervisors & PIs
Get practical tools to identify the signs, symptoms and triggers of mental ill health in students and how best to support them whilst maintaining your own mental wellbeing.
9 May – Public Policy Southampton: How to Tackle Your Imposter Syndrome
Imposter Syndrome can get in the way of academic success so join this workshop to understand what it is and get some key tips on how to tackle it.
22 May – Systematic reviews: searching the literature
Help build an effective search strategy for your systematic review, construct a thorough search, combining free text and subject heading searches.
28 May – The practicalities of co-production (KEE CoP event)
Explore the nuts and bolts of good practice in co-production, focusing on areas such as governance, equity, mutual benefit, co-production to test value proposition.
