Discover Southampton International Summer School in July

This year, our Southampton Summer School is a three-week programme for international students, taking place from Saturday 6 July to Saturday 27 July 2024.

Southampton Summer School is an opportunity for new students, current students, and graduates, to learn something new or gain fresh perspectives on their current studies.  

There are three courses to choose from to study: 

What are the benefits for current students? 

For those already undertaking a degree at the University, there are a multitude of advantages by participating in the Southampton Summer School as additional studies, including: 

  • A certificate for attending classes 
  • The opportunity to improve your English language skills 
  • A social programme with a trip to London 
  • Networking opportunities and making friends from around the world 
  • Workshops to support you with career planning and standing out to employers 

What are the costs? 

There are two separate fees – a tuition fee (£2,250), and an optional accommodation fee to stay in university halls with breakfast and dinner provided from Monday to Friday (£1,245.75).  

Please note, the tuition fee alone does not include meals, airport transfers, or any extra costs unique costs. 

How can students sign up? 

Students interested in joining a Southampton Summer School course this summer should visit the University website to check eligibility and complete the application form. The application requires evidence of English language proficiency, as well as a £50 application fee, which will be deducted from the tuition fee. 

Apply now applications close at midnight on Friday 10 May 2024.
