New stress training

We recently launched our Address the Stress campaign, which has included a roadshow to talk to staff across the University about stress in the workplace and ways they can manage it. We still have a few locations left to visit in the next few weeks which you can see on our interactive map at the bottom of this page.

There is a wealth of training in place to help support staff with managing stress. All staff training, line manager training and training on handling stressful situations for student-facing staff. So, there are plenty of options for you to understand what stress is and how you can manage it.

74% of UK adults have felt so stressed at some point over the last year that they felt overwhelmed or unable to cope. If we experience stress often, with little to no rest from it, it can lead to or worsen many physical and mental health conditions, but we can do something about it.
