New cyber security training platform – now live

We’re excited to announce that our new Cyber Security Training platform, KnowBe4, is now live.

KnowBe4 provides fresh, up-to-date content on the latest Cyber Security trends and threats, and new functionality will be introduced over the next few months, such as bitesize training on hot topics, interactive games and quizzes.

Why are we making this change?

  • We want to bring you the latest training in Cyber Security that we can, and KnowBe4 has over 2500 modules we can pick from.
  • Our previous platform didn’t pass our university accessibility checks. New modules in KnowBe4 are accessible, meaning that all staff have the best experience when learning about Cyber Security.
  • We’ve responded to your feedback about the content of our training and have updated it to include shorter modules that you can easily fit into your day.
  • Line managers can check their team’s progress with training and ensure it is completed.

What do I need to do?

Everyone at the University is responsible for completing cyber security training, which gives us the knowledge we need to spot and avoid cyber threats and keep our University and sensitive data safe.

Over the next few weeks, you’ll receive an email from [email protected] inviting you to complete your updated Cyber Security training. The first campaign has 13 short modules, between 2 – 10 minutes long, focusing on key cyber threats, such as phishing attacks. However, you can access the new platform here if you want to get started straight away.

Remember, we have a Cyber Security SharePoint site where you can find lots of helpful hints and tips about how to protect your device and data, as well as a link to the new training platform.

Thank you for your support,

Your iSolutions team
