We are looking forward to welcoming you to this year’s Staff Party on Wednesday 3 July, 14:00-17:00. The end of the academic year is a special time as we look back on our achievements and successes, and what better opportunity to thank those who have made a difference to our work life? Our shout out scheme is back for 2024 and you can submit your messages of thanks on the Appreciation Shout Outs SharePoint page.
What is a shout out?
This is an opportunity to write and share messages of appreciation for one or more colleagues, faculties, or directorates within the UoS community who you feel have had an impact on you or supported you through the last year.
You can send your messages of appreciation using the SharePoint page in advance and also at the Staff Party event. The messages will be displayed on screens in the music and craft marquees, for everyone to share in the supportive and caring environment our community embodies. Keep an eye out for the purple screens, which will include a QR code to scan to add your own message.
This is an open event for all staff, but to help with catering, please register using your @soton.ac.uk email to receive complimentary food and drink.
