Students and staff are invited to join the Doctoral College for their annual Doctoral Researcher Day, which brings together two flagship events of the doctoral calendar: the University 3 Minute Thesis® (3MT®) Final and the Doctoral College awards ceremony.
Taking place on Tuesday 25 June at Highfield (Building 32), the event will see our six faculty finalists compete to be crowned this year’s University’s 3 Minute Thesis® champion.
This year’s 3MT® faculty finalists are:
- Arts & Humanities: Amna Smith (Languages, Cultures & Linguistics)
- Environmental & Life Sciences: Acer Figueroa (Ocean & Earth Science)
- Engineering & Physical Sciences: Molly Phillips (Engineering)
- Engineering & Physical Sciences: Alexandar Todorov (Electronics & Computer Science)
- Medicine: Josephine Buckingham (Cancer Sciences)
- Social Sciences: Fabien Littel (Southampton Business School)
Following the 3MT® final, Professor Chris Howls (Director of the Doctoral College) will reveal the winners of our prestigious Research and Director’s Awards.
