2024/25 Sustainability & Resilience Institute funding opportunities

The Sustainability & Resilience Institute (SRI) is pleased to launch its 2024/25 funding calls. SRI annual funding aims to catalyse new research collaborations on sustainability challenges and enable impactful research.

All funding bids must focus on sustainability and be aligned with one or more of SRI’s main themes relating to the environmental, social, economic, and cultural context of:

  • Decarbonising the Economy
  • Nature-based Solutions (NbS)
  • Climate Change, Health and Wellbeing
  • Sustainable Research Practices, Methods and Tools

The types of funds available include:

  • Seed Fund
  • EDI & Sustainability Seed Fund
  • Principal Investigator (PI) Incentive Fund
  • Tyndall Theme Lead Fund
  • Responsive/Travel Fund

Deadline for applications is 26 July at 17:00 and all funds must be spent by 31 July 2025.
