Education focused
9 July – Situational Leadership (SLII) for Programme Leads (in-person)
This active workshop is aimed at Programme Leads (including Directors of Programmes) and will introduce the Situational Leadership model (SLII) in the context of the Programme Leads role.
Researcher / KEE focused
30 July – Knowledge Exchange Case Studies: Focus on Funding
This session will showcase a range of case studies within and between disciplines, focusing on funding journeys across the diversity of KE projects

4 July – Building and Sustaining a Successful Mentoring Programmes (in-person)
The establishment of formal mentoring schemes is a pivotal method in helping individuals to develop and build more positive professional cultures. This half-day workshop will help you to set up a mentoring scheme in a way that is powerful and sustainable.
16 July – Building and Sustaining Communities of Practice (in-person)
Communities of Practice (CoPs) are increasingly becoming a format of choice for new academic networks. This discursive half-day ideas sharing event is aimed at any University of Southampton staff who are engaged in developing communities of practice; particularly those who feel they have beginner or intermediate level experience in the field.
17 July – Starting your Impact Acceleration Account application (ESRC and AHRC) (in-person)
This awayday is open to Level 4-7 ERE staff and will be useful preparation for anyone thinking of applying to the IAA in connection with their impact submissions for the REF2029. Find out about the funding scheme and how to kick-start your application for impact funding.
