This online workshop is aimed at all teaching staff who interact with students daily, especially anyone new to the University of Southampton or those returning to teaching after a research break. It is designed to support you in managing your education role/s (however big or small) and help towards building your education portfolio and teaching expertise.
Choose from two dates: Wednesday 18 September (09:30 – 13:30) and Wednesday 25 September (09:30 – 13:30)
By the end of this event, participants should be able to:
- Identify key elements of learning and teaching practice in HE
- Design a learning and teaching session (and/or critique the design of a L&T session)
- Share examples of teaching and learning practice
- Fully understand the UK Professional Standard Framework for Learning and Teaching
