There are eight weeks left until the appraisal window closes on 15 September 2024. The appraisal is for the period 1 August 2023 to 31 July 2024.
The appraisal discussion must have taken place and the online appraisal form fully completed by 15 September 2024. Please arrange your appraisal meeting(s) now, if you haven’t already done so.
By 15 September you should:
- have had an honest conversation with your appraiser, reflecting on achievements, considering any lessons learned, and agreeing an assessment of overall contribution
- completed the online appraisal form
- ensured that your manager has submitted your online appraisal form to the second line reviewer
- discussed your personal development, career aspirations, and agreed objectives for the upcoming year and recorded these in your online appraisal form ending July 2025.
Using the online form
All staff will need to record their appraisal conversation and select an overall contribution descriptor using the online form. If this is your first time using the online form, or you would like some additional guidance, please see our help pages for support.
Training & support
A wide range of training and resources are available to support all staff and enable them to fulfil their role in the appraisal process. Please look through the resources to identify those that will best support you and/or your team.
The next Appraisals Q&A has been scheduled to take place on Friday 2 August at 10:00 – you can book a place on Staffbook.
