Closing soon – 2024/25 funding calls with the Sustainability & Resilience Institute

Are you developing a new, sustainability-focused project? Don’t miss your chance to apply for funding from The Sustainability & Resilience Institute (SRI).

Aiming to kickstart new collaborations and research to tackle sustainability challenges, the SRI’s 2024/25 funding calls could be a great way to develop your ideas with other academics and make a positive difference with your project. 

There are many types of funds available: 

  • Seed Fund 
  • EDI & Sustainability Seed Fund 
  • Principal Investigator (PI) Incentive Fund 
  • Tyndall Theme Lead Fund 
  • Responsive/Travel Fund 

It’s important to focus your application on sustainability and demonstrate how your project reflects the environmental, social, economic, and cultural contexts of the SRI’s main themes, including: 

  • Decarbonising the Economy 
  • Nature-based Solutions (NbS) 
  • Climate Change, Health and Wellbeing 
  • Sustainable Research Practices, Methods and Tools

Thinking of applying? Be quick! The deadline for applications is 26 July at 17:00, and all funds must be spent by 31 July 2025.
