We’re delighted to say that this year’s undergraduate admissions process has been delivered to an exceptional standard, with us coming out of Clearing on Monday 19 August except for a few programmes in Health Sciences, as is normal.
Phil Wright, Senior Vice-President Academic said:
“This is a fantastic achievement which reflects both on our reputation as a world class university and the commitment and hard work of all those involved in the admissions and Clearing processes. I would like to thank everyone who helped achieved this.”
David Winstanley, Executive Director, Student Life, said:
“We entered our Clearing period with ambitious targets this year and I’m delighted to say we have had a very successful outcome, working towards meeting our overall planned numbers for undergraduate, and achieving slightly over target on international students. This result is testament to our well-honed processes, targeted marketing campaign and collaborative working across professional services and academic colleagues.
Thanks to all those who have been involved over the past week or so, ensuring we enrolled the maximum number of students possible in a very competitive confirmation and clearing environment. “
