Migration and displacement are critical issues, and this new network will explore the challenges and opportunities associated with human mobility by developing new strategies and policy to support the wellbeing of migrants and displaced people.

This network joins an extensive web of research groups hosted by the SRI, such as Clean Air, Food Security, and Water Quality, with the aim of increasing collaboration between Southampton researchers, strengthening opportunities to receive grant funding, and improving approaches to interdisciplinary research.

The first meeting of the Migration and Displacement network is scheduled for 13 September 2024, from 11:00 to 13:00, with a location to be announced soon. It’s a great opportunity to introduce your work and collaborate with likeminded colleagues.

The meeting is open to academics and researchers of all disciplines, including early career researchers. To register your attendance, please use this form.
