The University provides an opportunity for staff to purchase additional holiday. This is on offer again throughout September 2024.
Colleagues are invited to purchase up to a week’s holiday, subject to specific limitations outlined in the policy. The deadline for applications is Monday 30 September, with applications confirmed following line manager approval and the necessary affordability validation checks. Additional holiday will be paid for via a regular monthly deduction, spread in equal instalments across the holiday year.
If you’re interested in purchasing holiday, but not quite sure how much extra you’ll need, or if you miss the September application window, don’t worry – there’ll be another opportunity to apply in March 2025.
