As part of the Blackboard Ultra Migration Project, everyone delivering a Foundation, Year 1 and Year 2 Semester 2 module will be teaching on Blackboard Ultra from this academic year. All applicable courses must to be updated before teaching starts in Semester 1.
Please remember, there is no automatic rollover for the first-time migration of a module to Ultra, so migrating your module requires you to manually move and update content from the current version of Blackboard to Blackboard Ultra. This process is intended to be more than just a ‘lift and shift’ exercise; it provides an opportunity to enhance your virtual learning environment module design and consider what you want to achieve as part of a holistic learner experience with support from the Ultra Project Team.
Attend our sessions
To understand how to move your module content, if you’ve not done so already, we strongly encourage you to attend our training sessions. You don’t need to attend all sessions, but you’re welcome to do so if you wish. If you can only attend one session, we highly recommend signing up for the “Introduction to Blackboard Ultra”.
Alongside this, we are also offering specialist support at our Tech Hub (Hartley Library) as well as drop-in sessions throughout September and October. Visit our SharePoint page to find out more information.
