Winter Graduation will take place at O2 Guildhall Southampton from Tuesday 17 December to Thursday 19 December 2024. Colleagues from across the University community are invited to sign up for a range of key roles, to help make Graduation an occasion to remember. If you are unable to support on the ceremony days themselves, there are also opportunities to support with ticket allocation from Monday 9 December.
Support for evening shifts would be particularly appreciated.
Why sign up?
Staff support at Graduation ensures that our graduands and their families experience a day full of joy and celebration as their hard work is recognised and rewarded. It is an excellent opportunity for staff to play a part in this key event of the academic year, regardless of their day to day work role. The success of this event relies on the support from the wider University community, and we want to invite as many colleagues as possible to play a part in delivering our Winter Graduation.
What do I need to do?
If you’d like to be involved, please have a conversation with your line manager about supporting the event. If you are available, please complete this form.

What happens next?
Once you have completed the form, the Graduation Team will be in touch after 15 November to contact individuals about shift allocations. Please keep an eye out for an email from [email protected]. If you have any questions, please email [email protected].
If you have already submitted your availability, your shifts will be confirmed to you by the end Friday 22 November.
