The University of Southampton Summer School provides international and UK International (UKI) students with the opportunity to engage with exciting and enriching courses and enjoy a programme of social events and cultural experiences.
UoS Summer School aims to:
- Support PGT recruitment
- Deepen the strategic partnerships that faculties have
- Provide a great student experience
- Increase UoS brand awareness globally and encourage greater engagement with international students
The Summer School is aimed at international and UKI students who have completed their second or third year of undergraduate study.
We are inviting academics to run a module lasting 1, 2 or 3 weeks between 5 and 26 July 2025.
Why run a module?
By running a module, an academic can build or diversify their student pipeline for a PGT course. A Summer School module can be derived from an existing PGT module or modules, providing students with a taster and encouraging them onto the PGT programme.
Alternatively, the Summer School can strengthen bonds with a strategic partner through providing them with the opportunity to inform a module while giving students from their institution a great experience.
Next steps
A call out to academics for module proposals has been made via your Associate Dean (International). If you would like to run a Summer School 2025 module, please seek approval from your Associate Dean (International), Director of Internationalisation or Head of School, and then either submit a module proposal form or scan the QR code below.
