Prosper: Unlocking the potential of research staff

Prosper is an innovative approach to researcher career development that seeks to unlock researchers’ potential to thrive across multiple career pathways – both within and beyond academia.

Prosper is hosted by the University of Liverpool and was co-created with postdocs, employers, PIs, and the wider sector.  Southampton has invested in Prosper to enhance our current Career Development Support for Researchers by our Careers, Employability and Student Enterprise team.

The Prosper Portal is specially designed for research staff with a PhD.  However, if you do research without a PhD, the portal is available to you too. The Portal is completely free to use. Registration unlocks the Career Development Navigator function, allowing you to tailor Prosper’s resources to your own journey and create a personalised action plan.
