The Sustainability Implementation Group is pleased to release the University of Southampton Sustainability Report 2023/2024 summarising the progress under the Sustainability Strategic Plan and the planned work across its six Goals.
This report covers the carbon emissions under Goals 1-3 for the 2022-23 academic year, as well as progress under Goals 4 to 6 of the University’s Sustainability Strategic Plan. Our institutional emissions are reported under the three scopes of the Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Reporting Protocol, followed by a summary of on-going work to reduce these emissions. Goals 4 to 6 cover how we are embedding sustainability in our education, research and financial investments, in line with our university strategic commitment to ‘make sustainability a part of everything the University does by 2030’.
For further details, University staff and students are referred to the SIG SharePoint report repository for technical reports, including our Greenhouse Gas Emissions report.
