Winter break: before you go…

Where to find support

The Student Hub is here to support you throughout the winter break. You can reach the team 24/7, including on Christmas Day and New Years Eve, via our online chat, by email, or telephone 02380 599 599. Winter break opening times for our hub sites across campuses can be found on the website.

If you need in-person wellbeing support over the festive period, our dedicated wellbeing services will be available for walk ins at The Student Hub in Building 37.

Your personal assessment timetable

The semester one generic assessment timetable, detailing dates, times and format, is available via SUSSED now. Your personal assessment timetable, including exam locations, will be available via SUSSED from Friday 20 December. We recommend you familiarise yourself with your timetables before your exams and assessments begin.

If you would like to study on campus during the winter break, please refer to SUSSED for detailed opening times.

Stay safe

The winter break is a fantastic time to connect with friends and family, and we encourage you to enjoy the festivities safely. You can visit the Student Safety site for reliable information about keeping safe on nights out.

And finally

However you choose to spend it, we wish you a relaxing winter break.

Remember to keep up to date with activities happening on campus over the winter break on the MySouthampton App.

If you are leaving over the break, consider reaching out to those staying in Southampton, Winchester, or who may not be celebrating. A simple message or check-in can really make someone’s day.
