6 March – Introduction to Evaluating Public Engagement with Research

A great starting point for those new to Evaluation, with a focus on evaluating Public Engagement with Research (PER).

19 March – Interdisciplinary Research Networking and Collaboration (Research@Southampton series)

An opportunity to network with interdisciplinary research in mind with introductions to key people and programmes.

26 March – Worktribe Research 101

An introduction to the research application process and the research support available at the University.

Personal Academic Tutor (PAT) Training: The Successful Futures Pathway

Find out about the Successful Futures Pathway and gain the information you need to have meaningful conversations with students.

March Professional Recognition of Educator Practice (PREP) PSF 2023 briefings

3 March – AI-Enhanced Assessment: Developing critical engagements (in-person)

Engage with generative AI for assessment practice and consider the different ways that generative AI might assist you.

6 March – Developing students’ assessment literacy to support success

Explore ways to scaffold assessment literacy within modules and how to signpost to students where this is supporting them in developing their assessments.

19 March – An overview of academic conduct and the use of Turnitin (in-person)

For those involved in teaching and assessing student assignments to better understand the University’s academic conduct and responsibility regulations.

28 March – Facilitating student peer review for formative assessment and feedback

Explore the benefits of utilising peer review as a vehicle for formative feedback, and present two models of peer review that you can adapt for use in your own provision.
