The Sustainability Community of Practice (SCoP) is excited to announce the launch of their 2025 Sustainability series: Exploring Our Planet’s Biomes: Why They Matter and the Challenges They Face.
This engaging series will take you through the world’s major ecosystems, highlighting their crucial role in sustaining life and the urgent challenges posed by climate change, biodiversity loss, and human activity.
Sessions will run every six weeks on Wednesdays at 15:00, providing a deep dive into each biome and the sustainability efforts needed to protect them.
Session 1 will be held on Microsoft Teams on Wednesday 5 March, 15:00 – 17:00 and will be an Introduction to Biomes and Sustainability delivered by Professor Simon Kemp. You can join the session here.
