Guest speaker for the session is Sarah Wheeler – sister of Provost, Adam Wheeler. Sarah will be talking about her journey through forty years in the wilderness of a severe mental illness. This journey, though painful, has connected her with hundreds of others going through mental ill-health and recovery.
Adam Wheeler will open the session, highlighting the progress made in the last year. As a mark of how we can develop in the future, Adam will sign the Mindful Employer Charter alongside Scott McCarthy, Chief Executive of SUSU.
Book a free place to save your seat. Afterwards, there will be taster sessions for meditation and singing. The event will be streamed live to the Hartley Room and available to view online. A photographer will also be present.
