Can you help provide a student with invaluable work experience? Do you have a short term project that would be great for an intern to get stuck into? The Excel Southampton Internship Programme is seeking internships across all areas of the University to support this summer.
Coordinated by the Careers and Employability Service, the programme specialises in providing professional support for University Faculties/Professional Services seeking to recruit students for four-12 week internships.
Excel’s dedicated Internship Team will assist in the recruitment process and will market and advertise your internship opportunity to the relevant students, as well as facilitate setting up your chosen candidate(s) with Tempbank. Excel will also provide 30 per cent funding for all internships that take place at the University.

In light of the recruitment control, Excel Southampton Internships have been approved on the basis that the posts are under three month temporary roles and are outside the scope of the exception bid process. Therefore, the Excel Southampton Internship team will continue to provide support for Faculties and Professional Services wishing to recruit students for internship projects at the University.
