As part of the new University Strategy, the University is launching a flagship fellowship scheme to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the University’s Royal Charter.
The Anniversary Fellowship Scheme offers an exciting opportunity for exceptional early-career researchers to advance their research careers and to be part of our ambitious plans.
The aim of the programme is to attract and develop the highest-calibre individuals who have the potential and ambition to become research leaders in their field, and who will tackle adventurous and novel research challenges. The scheme will contribute to our ambition for an inclusive and dynamic research environment, where research excellence thrives.
The scheme is open to exceptional researchers from around the world, from many backgrounds, and with diverse career paths and circumstances. Up to 15 Fellowships are available for internal and external candidates.
Anniversary Fellows will benefit from three-years’ independent research funding, additional funding for research expenses, the link to a permanent academic post and access to mentoring, career development and networking across the University and beyond.
The deadline for applications is Thursday 31 March 2022.
