As the 2022 ABP Southampton Marathon fast approaches, we’re sharing some more details about our Celebration Campus event, which is running from 10:00 until 14:00 on Sunday 24 April.
With the marathon route bringing runners through Highfield Campus, we’re looking forward to cheering them on in style!
We are delighted to announce several local acts who will be performing during the day – some of whom are also members of our very own student community! Confirmed artists include Cordelectra, Black Roof Country and Syrens, who will be entertaining visitors and adding to the exciting atmosphere.
While enjoying the live music, marathon supporters can also sample some great food. Local foodies Tuk Inn will be feeding hungry supporters with their international bites. Although some buildings will not be open on the day, the SUSU shop will be open to provide refreshments as well.
We hope you’ll join us on Highfield Campus on the big day to cheer on participants and enjoy the event! It’s the perfect spot on the route to support runners as they approach the finish line. We’ll also be offering them some much needed refreshment with a water station as they follow University Road.
