The 2022 edition of the Dissertation Prize competition, organised by the Social Impact Lab, is now open for applications.
The competition is open to undergraduate students from all disciplines across the University who are submitting their dissertations this term. The submitted dissertations need to address a social challenge at local, national, or international level. Additionally, the findings of the projects could potentially help policy makers or organisations address the particular social challenge and contribute towards making a difference.
First place wins a £100 gift card for Etsy or a donation for their chosen charity, alongside a personal recommendation from the Faculty Director of Social Entrepreneurship and Director of the Social Impact Lab, Dr. Pathik Pathak. The second and third places win £75 and £50 gift cards respectively, or a charity donation of their choice.
The application process consists of sending the completed short application form (which can be found at the bottom of the dedicated webpage), as well as a three-minute video explaining how your dissertation can make a change, to [email protected].
Applications close Sunday 5 June.
