Join us today from 14:00 – 16:00 at Highfield Campus for our Staff Party Celebration. This is a great opportunity to come together as a community and spend some quality time together in person while enjoying the variety of activities and refreshments provided.
Some helpful information:
Transport and Parking:
On the day of the party Uni-Link buses are free to all staff. Show your Staff ID for free rides. Parking restrictions will be lifted on Highfield campus from 13:30.
Food and refreshments:
This year external catering vans will provide complementary food in exchange for your refreshment vouchers which you will collect during check in. Food vans will include Greek, Asian, Mexican and Vegan. The Catering team will also be serving BBQ favourites. You will also be able to choose a complementary drink (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options available) and we will be serving ice lollies.
How to get your vouchers:
Simply check in at the registration points open from 14:00 to collect your refreshment vouchers. There will also be an opportunity to check in earlier to beat the queues. View Staff Party map for check in points. Please bring your Staff ID as proof of identity.
- Registration Point 4 (on the map). Reception area of B37. When entering the building, please use the side door to reduce disruption to the Student Hub area – Open 11:00-13:00
- Registration Point 1 (on the map). Beside the Nuffield. Open 12:00 onwards
Live music:
We are delighted to have live music provided by our fantastic music students during the party, see the map for more details on timings and locations.
Crafts:

Quiet Area:
Valley Gardens will be designated as a quiet area, for those who would like to take the opportunity to sit in a quieter area away from the hustle and bustle of the party.
Games:
Various outdoor games will be dotted around the party area.
Appreciation Shout Out:
Write a message of appreciation to colleagues or teams – view map to locate the appreciation area (by B38P).

Photography and filming: This will be taking place throughout the party for use in University publications and on our website. If you have any concerns about being in photos, please email [email protected], before the party or speak to the photographer during the event itself.
Please note: If you haven’t registered in advance, you can still come to the party. Bring your Staff ID to the check-in stand and we’ll get you registered. If possible, come along ahead of the party once the check-in points open late morning, to avoid queuing later on.
