About
Mrs Emma Mackenzie is a Clinical Scientist in Audiology and Principal Teaching Fellow in Audiology at the Hearing and Balance Centre (HABC), University of Southampton. She has worked for a number of years in the NHS. Emma is the programme lead for the BSc/MSci Audiology programme and coordinates a number of undergraduate and postgraduate Audiology modules. Emma is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council and is a member of the British Academy of Audiology and the British Society of Audiology.

Emma is the programme lead and part 2 lead for the BSc/MSci Audiology degree.
Emma leads modules covering all areas of adult rehabilitation and contributes to modules for all parts of the UG and PG programmes. She is also involved in clinical skills teaching, clinical placement activities and project supervision for both the BSc and MSc Audiology programmes.

Biography
Mrs Emma Mackenzie has worked at the University of Southampton since 1998 having completed the MSc in Audiology in 1994 and worked in Audiology in the NHS for a number of years. She worked as part of a team to set up and run undergraduate audiology training at Southampton and has been the programme lead for the BSc/MSci since 2015.
