Work Futures Research Centre (WFRC)
We are an interdisciplinary research and enterprise hub tackling some of the most pressing challenges facing the world of paid and unpaid work.
Our research covers everything from digital labour to social care, work organisations across the private, public and third sectors, and employees whether on salaries, contracts, or unemployed. The WFRC is coordinated by 4 directors and a steering group of researchers from across a range of University departments.
During the Covid-19 pandemic, office workers had to migrate from the office to work from home.
