Our interdisciplinary research centre brings together researchers, educators, cultural producers and the refugee voluntary sector to increase understanding of cross-border processes.
Our members share an interest in understanding how ideas, objects, and people move across borders. We study topics like colonialism, migration, cultural encounters, globalisation, conflict, and inequality. Through these topics, we can explore simple ideas like nation, nationhood, and nationality.
