Biography
John Armitage is Emeritus Professor of Media Arts at Winchester School of Art, University of Southampton. Previously, John was Associate Dean, Head of Department of Media, and Professor of Media in the Department of Media at Northumbria University, United Kingdom.
John is an editorial board member of the following journals: French Cultural Studies; Luxury: History, Culture, Consumption; Luxury Studies: The In Pursuit of Luxury Journal; Theory, Culture & Society; and the Journal of Visual Culture.
