Professor Grant Hillier is Professor of Econometrics within Economics at the University of Southampton. Grant is responsible for Senior Recruitment.
He is currently a Fellow of CeMMAP (The Centre for Microdata Methods and Practice) – the world-leading research centre for Microeconometrics.

Biography
Grant was born in Adelaide, South Australia, where he undertook his first degree. Having been awarded a prestigious Fulbright Scholarship, Grant undertook his doctoral research at the University of Pennsylvania in the USA. Grant received the esteemed Econometric Theory Plura Scripsit Award in 2008 and was Associate Editor of Econometric Theory between 1987-2012.
